How to join

Sign up in the app before you come; at the class, joining then takes a minute. Under 18? Sign up at home too: your parent agrees by email. No smartphone? Just come: you are registered at the desk.

  1. Sign up in the app

Install the app (see Get the app) and create an account: your full name as on your Aadhaar or other government ID, date of birth, gender, phone number, email address and your class centre. Tick that you have read the privacy notice. Confirm your email from the message you receive. Your sign-up then waits for the desk.

Under 18? Sign up the same way and add your parent's or guardian's name, email and mobile number. They get an email with a code and agree on our consent page; nothing more about you is used until they do. No smartphone? Skip this step: you are registered at the desk (step 3).

  2. Come to the class

Come during the open hours (see Classes) and bring your ID, so the coordinator can check your name. We keep only the name, never the ID number or a copy. If you have questions first, write to info@mridangaseva.com.

  3. Get registered at the desk

Tell the coordinator your name. They find your sign-up and accept it, and you get a roll number, such as MS-2026-0001, that stays yours. In the app, tap Check again: your student home opens.

No sign-up? The coordinator registers you in about two minutes: your name, a phone number or email address, and your area or PIN code (not your full address).

Under 18? If your parent agreed by email, bring their ID or come with them, so the desk can see it. If not, come with your parent or guardian: they give their name and phone number and sign a consent form. You get a printed QR card for checking in.

The app is optional. Without it, a coordinator checks you in at the desk.

  4. Start at the Beginner level

Learn the first strokes with a coordinator, practise at home, and come back when you can. Your progress is ticked off item by item, and the facilitator assesses you when you are ready for the next level.
